Last Night saw the start of the 2013 edition of the Turbo Action Polo Tournament. There was a great turn out and some good support from parents and fans alike.
As per the previous editions of the event, the first games for all teams were rather "quiet" as players were still getting to know each other (each others names) as well as getting use to playing alongside the opposite sex.
A word of advise going forward - the teams that play or adjust to the format of the competition best will be the most successful..........
What a cracker of a day to kick start the TURBO Action Polo Tournament 2013.
Below are the fixtures for tonight. A big reminder to all players to be at the pool 30 minutes before your first game for registration.
Below is the first of the Team Lists for the Turbo Action Polo Tournament 2013. Please note who the Captains of each Team are. Captains will be responsible for managing and running their Teams during the Tournament.
ALL Players are to meet 30 minutes before their 1st game on Monday 29th April for registration.
Monday 29th April sees the start of the 3rd Turbo Action Polo Tournament. We have a few slight changes in terms of the Team names, but the enjoyable and successful format remains the same.
A big thank you to our always supportive sponsor Blakey Beans. In fact a team has been entered under that name! Thanks for keeping us warm on those chilly evenings (yes parents - a sneaky Irish is available).
Below are the fixtures for the the Tournament with the first round highlighted in red.
It’s that time of year again!
