TURBO SA - PROJECT RHINO KZN

TURBO SA has teamed up with @JustSteveNewman and Project Rhino KZN to help fight the ware against wild life crime.

This great cause is championed by Steven Newman (The Naked skydiver, Rhino Poaching activist, recently banned Argus cyclist and the list goes on).  Steve's commitment to his work with Project Rhino KZN was the drawcard in TURBO SA getting involved with the project, over and above our feelings towards the issue at hand.

TURBO SA is launching the TURBO Project Rhino KZN costume that is now available for pre order either online or by contacting paul@turbosa.co.za.  10% of all sales of this costume will be donated to the Project Rhino KZN Charity.  We have the Turbo men's suit and the Turbo ladies training bikini on their way!

The Turbo men's suit is R550.00 and the Turbo ladies training bikini is R695.00 and will be available in South Africa in roughly 6 weeks time.  This will not be a limited edition item as we want to support the charity through as many sales as possible.

There will be MANY campaigns and projects involving the TURBO Project Rhino costume and @JustSteveNewman which will include some inter-active give aways.

Please follow our twitter handle @sa_turbo and @JustSteveNewman for updates, news and info regarding the sale of the costumes, the campaign, prizes and more.

More details regarding this ongoing campaign and the Project Rhino KZN charity will be constantly updated on this site as well as available on their web site - http://www.projectrhinokzn.org as well as via their twitter account @ProjectRhinoKZN.

As a result of the ever-increasing numbers of White and Black rhinos being poached in South Africa, the need to pool resources and co-ordinate activities has resulted in KwaZulu-Natal’s leading conservation agencies joining forces with provincial game reserves to fast-track urgently needed anti-poaching and conservation interventions.

PROJECT RHINO KZN was launched on World Rhino Day 2011, (22 September) by an association of 16 organizations including reputable conservation NGOs, the provincial conservation authority Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and private game reserves. It allows for over-arching co-ordination of rhino conservation interventions aimed at eliminating rhino poaching and securing the rhino populations in KZN.  Renowned rhino conservationist Dr Ian Player is one of the founders.
