Last night saw some fiercely contested and close encounters, just showing how much passion we have for this great game - Water Polo.
One that note, the success of this tournament lies on the actions, reactions of you - the players. It only takes a few individuals to turn something positive into a negative. In simple english - Don't tune the ref - get him to buy you a cold beer after the game rather!
As the tournament moves on, teams are becoming accustomed to the rules and format. We saw that last night with a few power play goals proving to be the decider. A mention goes out to Tammy from Team Mackerels. Her goal at the end of a tense game saw the 2 goal swing that won the game for her team.
Boerie rolls proved to be a big hit and thank you all once again for supporting the bar. It is fantastic to see such a social atmosphere post matches. No doubt this will continue!
