TURBO Action Polo - Round 4 Results and Final Log

Week 4 saw the last of the Round Robin fixtures.  These games decided the final standings for the group stage that would determine the Semi-Final positions.

A win for Greece saw them unbeaten and ranked 1 going into the Cup Semi-Final.

After the final log positions were set, it was into the Semi-Finals for both the TURBO Cup and Plate sections of the event.  These games saw some great water polo with the power play coming into its own in almost all them.

The highlight must be the 1 vs 4 Semi-Final anding in a 7 All draw which saw 1 extra time period of 5 minutes. Outsiders USA pulled off an upset win by scoring the only goal in extra time.

All teams will have one fixture next week to determine places 1 - 8.  

PLEASE remember that this event is about YOU, the players.  As in the spirit in which the event was intended and has been over the last 3 years, it is up to teams to ensure ALL players get equal game time. There are no coaches as this is part of the educational experience for all involved.  By now everyone should know and have interacted with their team mates in order for the objectives to be achieved.

There will be prizes for all teams that participated in the event.
